What this site is

This website belongs to Clearfold Invest and describes the portfolio service we run from Glasgow. It is general information for people thinking about investing, and it is not personal advice. Investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in.

Drawings and examples

The shop drawings, dashboard pictures and worked examples on this site are illustrations. They are not a quote, an offer, or a promise of any result, and they do not form part of any agreement.

Fees, rates and settlement

Fees, rates, dealing charges and the way money reaches your bank account are available on request and are binding only where they appear in the provider's agreement. Any figure shown as an example on the site is an illustration for that example alone.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to interfere with the site or with the accounts of other people.
• Do not copy the content for commercial use without asking us first.
• Do not use the enquiry form to send unlawful, misleading or abusive material.

Liability

We take care with what we publish, but we cannot promise the site will always be available or free of error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on general information here rather than on the agreement or on advice from an independent adviser.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute will be dealt with by the Scottish courts. The governing law position for the investment agreement itself is set out in that agreement.
